Who Can Use HITSS?
HITSS is easy to use:
DIRECT AWARDS - UP TO $3.5 MILLION - PROCESSED WITHIN 5-10 DAYS
| Step 1: WINS meets with you - the customer - to understand your business needs and recommends a possible solution(s) |
| Step 2: You send a draft Statement of Work (SOW) to: HITSS Contracting Officer Ms. Kathy Mejia 703-875-6689 (office phone) mejiakj@state.gov (email) |
| Step 3: HITSS Contracting Officer sends a Task Order Request (TOR) to WINS |
| Step 4: WINS responds to the TOR with a technical and cost proposal; normally within two days |
| Step 5: HITSS Contracting Officer forwards the WINS proposal to you or your Program Officer for review and approval/concurrence |
| Step 6: HITSS Contracting Officer awards to WINS; our support begins |
8(a) COMPETITIVE AWARDS - $3.5 MILLION AND HIGHER - PROCESSED IN 20 DAYS OR MORE
| Step 1: Potential bidders meet with you - the customer - to understand your business needs and recommends a possible solution(s); and/or |
| Step 2: You send a draft Statement of Work (SOW) to: HITSS Contracting Officer Ms. Kathy Mejia 703-875-6689 (office phone) mejiakj@state.gov (email) |
| Step 3: HITSS Contracting Officer sends a Task Order Request (TOR) to HITSS 8(a) awardees |
| Step 4: Eligible awardees responds to the TOR with a technical and cost proposal; normally within two weeks. |
| Step 5: HITSS Contracting Officer forwards the: 1. Technical proposal to you or your Program Officer for technical review and evaluation 2. Cost proposals to the Office of Acquisition Management for cost evaluation |
| Step 6: The contract is awarded to the winning HITSS 8(a) company |
