The 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services (STARS) GWAC is a small business set-aside contract for
technology solutions. It is designed to promote small business utilization when purchasing technology solutions for the federal government.

The 8(a) STARS GWAC is a multiple awards, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle with a three-year base with two, two-year option periods (June 2004 - May 2011). The 8(a) STARS GWAC program ceiling is $15 million.

WINS recently submitted its compelling proposal for the 8(a) STARS' follow-on contract - GSA 8(a) STARS II; which was designed to support follow-on work and help promote and ensure continued small business utilization. The 8(a) STARS II will have a period of performance (base + options) through 2016.
